I  am  surfing   on the internet  right now, my  father is next to me because he is teaching me how to upload a document.  I am writing a project   about insects for natural  science  and we are searching for information on a website. We are listening to  music on the radio  too..

My brother is using the laptop in the living room,  he is sending  emails, he is working in a new company and he can work  from home.

My mother is watching a soap opera on TV, she loves it  ,  and she is sometimes looking at the mobile phone.

READING   COMPREHENSION ,   6TH PRIMARY,    UNIT  6  ADVENTURE CAMP

The 5TH of June is the World Environment day and

 we will celebrate the  “Green  Week''  at school  and we  are  going to 

have some activities related to the environment. By the  way, I  am 

 Martina, and  I  am from Spain.

We  are   going to calculate how much  we can save in energy  if  we

make some small changes in our  everyday life. 

First of all In Language subject we are going to make a survey about good 

uses at home and in Natural Science we are going to plant many vegetables

 in the school orchard .

At  school  we are  not  going to use  plastic  bags  anymore, and the

  paper is recycled.

Did   you know that  you are going to use 200 liters of water  

every 10 minutes of shower? So…. short showers  please,  

and  do  not  forget  to close the tap   while  you are brushing  your teeth.  

And what about the oil  we use  in the kitchen¡¡¡, there  are  two

  solutions. We are going to  make  homemade  soap or you are

 going to  recycle in a proper place.

Secondly I am not going to forget  to turn off  the lights when

 not in use  and  I  am  going to use  energy  efficient bulbs.

Finally, in my house we all  love plants and flowers, and we 

 are  going to design  a garden. My mother is a  designer. We

 always  collect  water  from rain, we are going to water at  

sunset  and  we are going to make compost from organic trash.
