Unit 3 Our town

My name is Tracy and I am ten years old, I live in Vélez-Málaga, It is a big town with a lot of beautiful places to visit and enjoy: museums, castle, artistic monuments, restaurants, tapas bars, beautiful parks and big houses.


I live in Silver street, it is a long street, there is one small supermarket and also there is a shoe shop, next to the supermarket. At the end of the street there are two bookshops , and there is a library.


In my town There are two sports centers but there is not a cinema.
In Vélez-Málaga there are seven museums, and there are two big parks.
We have got a hospital and there is a shopping center, but there is not a train station.

                                             “let´s  go   shopping”

Hello, my name is Kevin, I don't  like  shopping, but today  is a special day and

 I  go shopping with my sister, my mum and my dad. In  my  city  there  is a

 shopping center.. Today is my birthday and after doing some shopping

  I have a little birthday party in a ball pool with my friends.

We need to buy a pair of boots at the shoe shop for my sister and after we have to  buy

 some books for me,  the book shop is in front of the shoe shop on the 

first floor,   then  we go down  to the ground floor to buy some food too.

My dad needs to buy a new battery for the computer, the computer shop 

is outside the shopping center,  at the end of the street, they have a  free

game area in the shop. I love playing computer games, and we buy some games too .

READING COMPREHENSION 5º P  COMPARATIVES ADJECTIVES.

 THE BASKETBALL  MATCH

 

It  is Sunday and my brother and I go to see a basketball match, our favourite 

teams are playing. I like Unicaja   basketball from Málaga  and my brother 

is a Real Madrid  basketball supporter.

Our seats are   nearer the field, although  there are more people

 than other matches because  it  is the final of the championship and 

the tickets are much more expensive for that too, fifty euros.

The match starts at half past six, it is  earlier than normal .

In the first half   Unicaja is  better  and faster than Madrid but 

Madrid is more efficient  than Unicaja in points. Málaga basket is

losing.

In the second  half  Unicaja  is  more intelligent than Madrid and

they score  more points than Real Madrid. Unicaja basket wins the final match.
